Aloha yogi’s,

Starting on Sunday Feb.28 there are some changes and additions to the schedule.  We’d first like to say aloha, thank you and good luck to Marco.  I know he will be missed and is such an excellent teacher.  We are sorry to see him go.  I know his students will miss him.  Good luck to him on his new endeavor teaching Martial Arts full time!!!

Meghan will be taking his Tuesday afternoon class.  With spring coming, the Tuesday and Thursday classes will start at 4:30pm.

We are excited to welcome Steve Salkin-Krucker to KCYC.  He is a certified Iyengar instructor.  and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our studio.  He will be teaching Saturdays 4:30pm, Sundays 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

Meg and I are also very excited to have Danielle Tatik taking the Wed. 11:00am Foundational class.  Danielle has been studying with myself and Michelle Myhre for many years. She received her teacher’s training from Nadia at Maui Yoga in Paia.

Please check the schedule for the updates.

See you in class and many mahalos for the continued support. For without you……we don’t exist.

Kihei Community Yoga Center was established to fill the need for a variety of affordable Yoga classes in the Kihei community. Yoga partners, Tracy Keenan and Meghan Franklin brought the center to fruition as that need became evident. The instructors of Kihei Community Yoga Center bring years of teaching experience and a passion of Yoga to the center. Kihei Community Yoga Center strives to bring an honor to the body through the practice (sadhana).

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

“Everything you need is already within you. It is simply a matter of finding it. Those around you have the same; some may take longer to find it. Practice patience, loving kindness, and understanding to both them
and yourself.”
